Last fall we received an abundance of donations of apples to our Gleaning program, but some of the apples could not be distributed in our food pantries, so in order to divert them from the waste stream we partnered with Humboldt Cider Co. to turn them into cider! This is the 3rd year we’ve partnered with Humboldt Cider Co. to produce “Cider for People.”

Senate President Designee Mike McGuire has teamed up with Food For People, KHUM radio and six local high schools for the annual Humboldt Holiday Food Drive for eight years in a row.
